We're learning about technology in language classrooms, so I thought I'd make a little post with an embedded video. I'm excited about this modern approach, and I've got a lot more good ideas for teaching now. I have a feeling that students will be more eager to do their work if it's on a computer.
This is a video of a great song that can be used in a Spanish 10 or 11 class. The singing isn't too fast, so the lyrics are fairly easy to discern. A girl in my second languages methodology class made a great warm-up activity where the students listened to the song and filled in a few blanks in the lyrics. The blanks were filled in with some of their familiar vocabulary words.
